Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (about 1.5–2 kg)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and oregano.
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, including inside the cavity.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F).
- Place the chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 25–30 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
- Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then carve and serve.
