Air Fryer Whole Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (about 1.5–2 kg)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
  3. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and oregano.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, including inside the cavity.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F).
  6. Place the chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken and cook for another 25–30 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
  8. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then carve and serve.
